Heard today 6000 tickets sold already for Saturday, should be nice to get a full house!

Is that both teams or just us?

I think we are looking more at 9-10,000. It has baffled me this season where the fans have gone.

We got more when we won the Fourth Division in 2004.

I know we have always been a real fickle bunch but usually when we are winning, the fans come flooding back. If we do go up, it could seriously damage the wage budget next season if they are planning on average crowds of 8-9,000.

you have to remember that the 2004 promotion came on the back of regaining our league status the year before.  This year has come on the back of an embarrassing relegation.

To me, though, its just as sweet.

They don't have owt to play for do they? So doubt they'll bring many. It's a shame we can't guarantee promotion or then we would sell out (I know we can, but it takes a fair few results going our way, as opposed to just us winning). We ought to have some sort of promotion (no pun intended) on to pack the ground for this game. I know some ST holders might be annoyed but I wouldn't mind it for one.

I would love to be there but I'm in London as I'm doing the marathon the day after and need to register.

I'm the same DVR, got to go to the Expo on the Saturday so no football for me.

The VSC are doing their bit to get people in, so far thanks to your voucher M donations we have given away over 70 tickets to the Notts County game to Bluebell Wood and some local junior football teams.

My missus works at Bluebell Wood, I wonder if she can bag me a couple of tickets.

Same to you! 5minstogo off the forum is doing it as well so there'll be a small Rovers contingent in London next weekend. Probably be a few more the week after though...
