Loyalty cards
« on April 16, 2013, 03:38:11 pm by RTID75 »
From the club. Remember them?

Found mine the other day and realised I had forgotten all about it.  At no point was using (or adding to) the points accrued mentioned on buying next year's season ticket last month.  I do hope the club haven't let this one slip into the ideas bin without telling anyone.

Does anyone know the score?

I actually discovered mine the other day.  It hasn't worked for me.  As a Season Ticket Holder, in the Club Shop, you can't acquire points and use the STH discount, so I've always opted for the discount.

The club do need to get around to asking us how it's all worked, though.

Mine is still in my wallet, between my Gala membership card and one loyalty card from some hairdressers. I used to use it a lot, but if im honest I dont think the points collected collected amounted to much, if at all. Unless your spending thousands each season you dont really raise much at all. One of the biggest disadvantage was that you couldnt collect points for away tickets.

I mean with Subway I got a free sub after 10 purchases, I think in my hairdresses I get a free haircut after I pay for 5, at Waterstones Ive got about £50 off of some of my books in the last year alone. But after spending a fair amount at the KMS the only thing i could buy with my points is a cigarette lighter at £2.50. While its something that is in effect free I dont think its as rewarding as say a free shirt if you spend over £200 over a season in the club shop.

Only ever tried to use mine twice. The first time very early on with the scheme I was told that I could only use it to purchase a season ticket/if I already had one so didn't put points on from my purchases. Second time machine wasn't working. I was given reciept and asked to bring it back in the next time I was in Donny but the print on the reciept faded by the time I was back after a few months.

Still got mine, it was sent to my old address last year. I was told all purchases automatically go on I.E. ST I've recently purchased.

Is this correct? To be honest the info I received with the card was very hazy to say the least!!

No mate. I've asked all season, trying to get more points and hope they'd not remember or just stick points on anyway. Not a chance.

Can the VSC confirm they're still in use, as I need to stick all my ST outlay on there

I'd be disappointed if recent purchases haven't automatically gone on. Suppose I'll have to email the club to see what's what.

A trialled idea that only those who responded to the original request from the club for volunteers to test for them were invited in to.
