Premiership
« on May 06, 2013, 07:31:09 pm by Rovers-on-Thames »
I'm done with it personally. Sick of the same old teams in the top 7. Sick of Chelsea FC. Sick of Manchester United boring their way to the title season after season. Sick of the over-hyped battle for champions league. Sick of Wigan vs whoever else for relegation.

It just doesn't excite me in the same way as it did 4/5 years ago.

The football league - especially the top half of league one / bottom half of championship - has been much more competitive and enticing this year. Brentford - Swindon just added another match to that list. We need a game closer to the people who matter - the fans - and that is what the football league can offer.

I agree, it is nowhere near the excitement of the leagues below it this season and it seems to stay the same as other leagues get better each year

Must admit that Premiership footy is a waste of time too with little excitement, overpaid players, fleeced supporters (or should it be fans?). It's no surprise that the fans of relegated P/Ship clubs appear to enjoy their time in the Championship before ther clubs once again buy their way back into the closed cartel as soon as they can.
The Premiership has become the equivalent of a closed Masonic Lodge.
