Yep, got to agree with this. I haven't seen a side in this league that could compete with the performance we put in today, without a sizeable slice of luck. We had a couple of months worth of bad luck squeezed into one game today, so if we keep our positive performances going we're going to have a very strong second half of the season. We can't have bad luck like that every game. We've proven we're a force in this league today, made supposedly the strongest team in the league look very average.Let's just hope this season goes better than last time the Deedars stole an undeserved 2-2 draw against us!
Be interesting to see what the average wage of that "youth team" is compared to ours. They've just signed a player from the Prem FFS. We had key players missing too.Let them puff their chests out and treat a very, VERY lucky point as a win (again). Their reaction to scraping a fortunate draw says it all really.
As Sheff Utd and Tranmere have next weekend off, a 5-0 win at home to Colchester would see us top of the pile.
I think he'll be drunk til the new season starts.
The odds must have been a hell of a lot worse than I thought then. Was expecting him to pick up 5 figures on that one.
