SEB, Peter leven (maybe) Ryan Burge again? meant to be Port Vale's best player but had a falling out with Adam's, Taylor Fletcher

Basso was a good keeper but at 38 hes maybe a little older than we might like.

Dean Gerken would be a decent shout though.

Christophe Berra the CB formerly of Wolves

Matty Done the left winger from Barnsley would be a decent signing seen as we let woodsy go and look sparse on the left wing.

Gerardo Bruna would be worth a good shout and I would also think John Rooney would be worth a trial.

Not much on there! Kevin Davies, Matthew Bates, Danny Haynes, Stephen Foster are the best on there for me. A lot of shit tho!

I'd be happy with Kevin Davies. Can't see him asking for a lot and can put a shift in

I would imagine there will be a whole host of clubs after big KD. Very harshly let go by Bolton in my opinion

For me (fitness aside which I don't know enough to judge) the players that stand out are Stephen Mcphail, Brian Howard, Heidar Helguson, Darius Vassel and Slyvan Ebanks, Blake,  Stephan Hunt Adriano Basso and Steven Simonsen look pick of the keepers but I suspect we will do better. Ricardo gardner. Depending on wage I wouldn't be adverse to getting Oster back as a squad player. Not sure about any of the defenders.

Gary Dicker has done well since we rejected him might be worth another trial, Keith Fahey is better than any midfielder we currently have and if possible, I'd get him here...apart from them two, a lot of shite.

When we played Villa at their place in the cup replay, the taxi driver from the pub to the ground told me a very interesting tale about Darius Vassell.  Thats all I can say.....

I thought Darius Vassell had retired? What's he been up to in the last year?

I'd like Gary Dicker, he's a good player. SEB has broken his leg though I believe.

Norwich have just released a slew of players, several of whom would be good signings for us.

Lee Camp, Elliott Ward, Simeon Jackson, Tom Adeyemi and Marc Tierney. All good players at this level (or in Adeyemi's case, I expect he will be).

I would happily see any of those Norwich players come, always rated Lee Camp, Elliott Ward we know can be a quality centre back and the others would all be good at this level.

In terms of anyone else the only players really worth looking at would be Gary Dicker, Gary Taylor Fletcher and Christophe Berra IMO

Simeon Jackson I'm guessing will be snapped up by A N Other top end Championship club. Natural goalscorer.

Elliot Ward who we know well, would be excellent and the thought of seeing another overhead kick, especially in front of the Hillsborough faithful again, would be sublime. Alas, out of our bracket.

I've got a  signed photo of that overhead kick
