So ….. less than 4 week until the big KO ….. how are we all feeling??

Personally, Im just a tad concerned that we are all still being told to keep calm good things come to those who wait… etc etc etc

I don’t doubt for one minute that PD/JR/GB are all working tirelessly to get the right folk in, and that deals maybe just a signature away (someone please own up to hiding the pen!!!) … but it’s the blending in period that im started to get concerned about now. Are we heading into, what is certainly going to be a tough season, undercooked and under prepared??

We are told new faces will be arriving, and I don’t doubt that for one minute, but are we going to be ready as a unit come 3rd August??

One thing we can’t afford is a slow start. We got away with it last time round under SOD but I’m not sure we would get away with it again. The Championship looks stronger to me that it did back then, certainly in terms of the sheer number of sides who would well have a good season.

PD has said all the right things in his interviews and he has already started to win me over from my initials doubts about his ability so I am keeping firmly hold of my optimism for this new era ….. I just hope we are ready for Blackpool.

I agree with you about the quick start. We need a good couple of wins and performances in the first month otherwise some of the fans will be straight on Dickov's back
