Just seen Holden has put on his twitter both browny and Bennett have got two year deals, slightly surprised Bennett has been given that long if I'm honest.

IMO wasn't good enough for League 1, so it would be a surprise if he came good next season.

As others have said elsewhere,  maybe the direct style didn't suit him under DS and continued under Flynn,  and maybe playing a bit more of a passing game will see him flourish.

Well that's 3 managers he's had that he's fallen short of potential. His saving grace is he is young and can learn however, from some of his antics on Twitter, and as seen the the Brentford dressing room, he seems to show some immaturity compared to other young players such as Husband and Lundstram. 

Given the game time he's has in the last 3 seasons is it fair to expect more?

Agree. His antics in the dressing room were embarrassing and somewhat disrespectful to Brentford. If I saw footage of an opposition player doing that in the KMS dressing room, I'd be pissed.

Glad it's not just me that thought that about Bennett in the Brentford dressing room. I used to really like the guy, but that made me take a different view of him. Thuggish and pathetic. I understand excitement, but that was trashing the place for the sake of it.

It's last chance saloon for the guy, he's got natural pace which scares the life out of defenders but he's got to learn to utilise it, knock it past em & run simples!
