personally i cant wait to see Harper come back this season, he really was the boo boys choice last season, just like Oster used to be, some of you need to have a word with yourself if you think a single midfielder is responsible for losing games, i suppose the forwards just waltzed past Harper into goal didn't they? err no... they didn't, they went through 4 defenders and a goal keeper as well.

1 player does not cause the problems we had under Saunders hoof ball 4-5-1 formation.

I don't think we are the 'booing your own Player' type of fans. I wouldn't approve of that whatsoever, I was merely stating he is past it

The reason he didn't play well last season, is maybe because he's used to playing in a footballing side, whatever we were last season a footballing side we were not,who knows he might come good this season.

He's been poor for the last three years since he left Reading, he's not impressed at three clubs since them which says a lot IMO.

Nice theory Sammy but passing, vision and anticipation are all facets of a footballing side and Harper proved himself inept at all three of these skills throughout the season.

True Alias,i've got faith that Dickov will know if the legs have gone,he was a quality player at Reading, but when your footballer one minute you've got it,then all of a sudden the things you found easy aren't there any more,he had all those things at Reading you mentioned,my thinking was with better players around him we might just squeeze a swansong season out of him,you will have seen him more than me last season, when one of the other posters on here mentioned he took off in a mood when not selected months ago,for me i wouldn't hold that against him,i've done the same myself in the past, once the tempers snaps and you feel like somebodies taking the p..s it can happen,it can be seen two ways 1. it ruins the team spirit or 2. he cares passionately about being in the team,as long as he doesn't crack the manager for me that wouldn't bother me,i'd be more worried if he didn't care, maybe he needs to drop a level if he keeps playing.
