....has been taken off the transfer list and will see out the remainder of his contract at PNE. Hope we get someone with the energy he gave us, albeit with a better eye for goal.

He's a bit of a terry butcher kind of player - people think because he had a small injury or two that bled a bit once and that he runs around a lot, that he's brilliant. He ran around a lot for rovers but he didn't do much else. I applaude his effort, if martin woods or kyle bennett made the dame effort they'd be in the premier league.

and his message on twitter ( see above) shows what a genuine bloke he is. For me this type of neve say die attitude on and off the field is what makes fans remember players .. Tindill, Colin Douglas, Glyn Snodin, et al...

Can't agree with you Craigy Boy, I've lost count of the number of "lost causes" he chased down, resulting in us having more pressure on the oppo's goal. Often gave opposing defenders a torrid time, despite his lack of stature. Thank you Humey, you were a pleasure to watch. Good luck for the future, at PNE.

Was fantastic for us last season.  Best of luck to him.  Top pro with a top attitude.  Will monitor his progress next season

No, just scored 7 goals. More than Bennett, Coppinger, any of our other midfielders bar Cotterill. Great foil for Brown and Billy too.

But no, absolutely f**k all else, eh.

Not saying he's absolutely brilliant or that he'd be the right signing for us this season (not that it's gonna happen now anyway) but it's not quite giving him the credit he deserves, what you say.

If we had half a dozen Humey types instead of the foreign legion season, we just might of staved off relegation.

Gives his all.

Bless you Humey lad.

2/10 got me to respond, too much like MadMick though, apply yourself and try again.
