Okay so I firmly had my tongue in cheek when I said refined... those who know me can certainly testify that that has never been the case :)

I personally think we should sack the football off all together and just turn the keepmoat into a variety of substandard eating establishments and a bar.

In all seriousness, personally this would be way down on my list of priorities but it is clear that in todays society of people always wanting everything, providing a good match day 'experience' is what is required and the club do seem to be addressing that. If having different kiosks keeps people happy and makes them spend more money which can be pumped into the playing squad then it can't be a bad thing.

That is the crux of it Jenny. The more money Rovers can generate off the field, the more we can spend on the field!

Plus, as I'm sure you all recall, when the SMC ran the place the ROvers saw NOTHING from the concourse sales.  At least now every pie, drink, hot dog, pizza, chip, swan burger (only available in the East Stand!) you buy helps the club.

All the new food stuff looks good, and I'm sure will taste somewhat better than the cardboard shite we've been served for years!

To cut down on queues and suchlike - I'd like to see us round everything up or down to a multiple of £1 or 50p - how much easier would that be? How much time and brain power (on behalf of the servers) would it save?

Still no mention of what beer/Irish stout provision for the vast majority who drink it (and lager), I notice 1879 is only available in the social club currently and that is served under co2 pressure so should last equally as long as the insipid "Tetleys" - NOT brewed in Yorkshire.

Agree we are not in the dark ages re food and drink but it is a football match, not baseball. A lot of fans like a pint at half time.......

I'm sure all this has been dealt with earlier, the beer this season will be Boddingtons, Becks, Budweiser and Kingstone Press. Its all on the price list.

If we got Papa Johns instead of Dominos I would pledge to spend at least 10% of my monthly salary at the kiosks and then join the Keepmoat gym too!!

That's the way forward I think Jenny, fatten every chuff up from food/drink from the kiosk then offer them a good discount on a yearly membership to the gym.

You should go on the Apprentice!

It looks to me like the new catering will be a cut above what you find at most football grounds.

The food won't be cheap, it isn't at any league football but at least the signs are it will taste alright and the club and VSC are pushing to keep some control of  prices. The catering certainly won't be a reason to put anyone off going to the match. At a lot of clubs it is!

Mind you, I would have loved to see, say a local butchers serving up burgers, hot dogs and bacon rolls.

The Keepmoat did the catering for the Jet Ski event, doing proper griddled 1/2lb burgers with soft onions and self serve salad. £3.50 a go but I tell you they were quality and I don't mind so much paying that price if the quality is there.

Now, unlikely they could offer the same service or quality at the stadium as they could not cope with the volumes required. They don't seem to have the equipment on the concourses to griddle anything anyway.
