12/1???

Usually bookies offer about 18/1 on the handicap list, id shop around you wil get a far better price for same handicap.

I'm snapping their hands off ......piss easy bet imo. Just a tad worried that we might just fall short of winning the division by 26+ points though ;)

18/1 sounds better and I wouldn't want to be seen as a 'moron' in your eyes.

Always think these are very difficult to win - there's usually always a surprise package (such as Hull last year) - unless it's us and we finish in the top 6 I can't see this being a decent bet. Better to just go for a promotion bet in my opinion - I got 40-1 a few weeks back but I think it's more like 30-1 now.

Teams like Reading have the potential to get 90+ points quite easily.. even the average winning margin of around 86 points means you are betting on us getting 60+ points. Without a keeper, a striker who's going to score goals and a big enough squad to compete in this league we are  not going to get anywhere near 60 points. Dreamland.

I'm afraid it's realism. Take your blinkers off.

We didn't get over 60 points in any of our last 4 seasons in the championship. What's different this time? If you can make a case for how we've improved since then I will listen to you.

He's got a point, hence the 18/1 price, hence the term "gamble".

Sky Bet.
Rovers 7/4 second favourites to get relegated. Yeovil 10/11.
Odds could change dramatically if we get new investment and sign some 'proven' players at championship - or higher - level

150/1 to win the league but only 25/1 to gain promotion. Hmmm.

I'll have a bet with you that we reach 60 points??

I'll have a bet with you that we reach 60 points??

I'll take this bet on with two provisos;

1) You give me up until the start of the season to change the bet (i.e. if some mystery Irish trillionair buys us a new team then I will obviously revise my opinion)

2) Secondly, I'll give you 61 points and over. No Less.

£50 to the winners chosen charity sound about right?

1) no, the whole point of betting is gambling taking the risk, you can't pick and choose the conditions waiting for variables to change.

2) the bet is whether we reach 60 points or not, so 59 points you win, 60 points I win
