They've worn me down!

Like everybody else on here, I've been a constant every dayer on here waiting in anticipation of hearing some news about new signings and signings of our existing squad members.
For the last 4 to 5 weeks I've logged on thinking "this must be the day", but to no avail. My enthusiasm has diminished day by day, week by week, until I am now at a state of Rovcon 111,000000,0000.0.

I know things take time, and we need to keep things close to our chest so as not to give too much away (M'Voto), but I really am at a stage where I really couldn't care less what happens now.
Without doubt we will have a team to field come the start of the season. Whoever is in it remains to be seen.
They really have worn me down over this closed season.

well in fairness nothing spectacular or bad can have happened because nothing really has happened!

Exactly, and that wears things down.  Right now we appear to have kept our key players if indeed they do all sign as seems very, very likely and we've managed to get Furman and Duffy with Forrester also looking likely.  That's not too shabby, a striker and a keeper signing in the next week and people will be wondering what the fuss was.

I remember last year, we were apparently going down and having crowds sub 5000, neither of which happened.
