I reckon they say we've signed Forrester, which after yesterday, I will believe when I see it on DROS.
Other than that it doesn't say much. It reckons we treated SOD badly and it's a surprise that Dickov is manager, and we'll be looking over our shoulder.

Don't think there's any conspiracy theories there.

I know we've said the Forrester deal is just about done, but we said that about Mvoto. With regards to SOD we put him on gardening leave when I think everyone knew he wasn't coming back. (Personally, I think given the run of results at the time, I think he deserved to get the sack)
They consider it a surprise that Dikov was chosen as manager, and they think we will be looking over our shoulder.

No I wasn't, tbh. I thought it was the usual sloppy shite, served up as opinion. I wasn't trying to dredge anything up or evoke anti-club sentiment because of what happened with SO'D - it hadn't even occurred to me because it's million years ago.

I expected people to slate the piece a bit, and maybe proffer their own opinions as to how other clubs might fare and - more importantly - how we will do.

I will be delighted if we're looking over our shoulder because it means there will be teams below us.
We know its going to be a long, hard season and as long as we don't finish in the bottom three.............

Exactly. I agree. It's going to be tough, but we have done it before. I just hope that this forum doesn't become a killing field when the inevitable defeats occur.*
