Could he be the best keeper ever to wear the no 1 shirt for the rovers ??
He is getting better and better every game as his confidence grows

I just missed Harry Gregg but Ross is fast becoming the best that I've seen I'm my 50 years of watching them. :scarf:
He must really instil confidence in the rest of the team.

Get him on a 3 year contact before someone else does!

Very much beginning to look like it in the years I've been going!

The ball that looked to be flying in to the top left corner in the first half and he just plucked it out of the air! - awesome.

The way his kicks from back passes (including a flick up and volley) all stayed in play (straight even) did NOT remind me of Sully or Woods

Agree from what i've seen so far, what a difference a quality keeper makes to how solid the side is. Improved beyond recognition from his first couple of games. I fear we'll not be able to afford to extend his deal but he'll play a big part should we stay up this season.

Excellent keeper, had some doubts earlier in season when he flapped a bit at crosses but now his gained some match time he's immense.

Hope he stays with us for a few seasons as we give him the chance to prove what a great keeper he is

The only thing missing from all the accolades is his unerring ability to find Brownys head from kicks. Something we have taken for granted a tad, but something we've been critical of from our keepers over the years.

He's clearly premiership quality, without a doubt. Wouldn't be surprised to see him there next season. Still young as well.

He wasn't at Chelsea for no reason. His handling and distribution is immaculate

DRFC Should Offer him a good long term contract with a Minimum release (that is realistic) So if he gets the Chance Of a good move he gets it... but we get some long term coverage.

He is class and just needed games to get him to the standard he is now. Best Rovers keeper I have seen quality.

Think that's the only way around it to be honest. I certainly can't see him signing anything long term without a release clause. If we were to go down this year he won't hang around to play in league 1 and I very much doubt we could afford to keep him either

Agreed.
Really hope we don't cock up through dillydallying as we have in the past.

I can't see any reason that he would want to extend. If he continues like he's started he'll have top end Championship and Premier league clubs to choose from.

As I've posted on other threads, he's 'a proper goalie'.
