i sometimes like to think Its alot harder to pull the wool over my eyes
Than others.

Take that blade runner from SA,i allways said in my local whenever
I saw him on the idiot box that 'somert about him is bugging me and i dont like him'

Back to my local pub,there was a new barmaid that started behind the bar some weeks back.she was a stunner and a propper head turner with her looks and all the blocked were w**king them silly over her.

I noticed something that played with me,which was tje fact that she was looking for a job and given a chance on a trail period in the local.

I noticed that When i went in for a few pints on her second shift that she never smiled once during her shift .never said hello or goodbye to a customer and too me she Seemed very very cold .

Bar owner Asked what i thought about her and i told that in the bar trade i would never trust anyone who first in a job especially could not make customers feal wellcome,wanted and look happy.

how can you hope to Get a job in a pub while looking and acting so unsociable would be my case?fcuk her off simple as i would say.

After she had Been there 3weeks on her first shift where she is left to close and lock up one night,thr next morning she is found laid out behind the bar on thr Floor with a half bottle Of vodka by her side that
She had Necked.

Bar owner said he should have taken my warnings more serious

Got an idea. You being such a good character judge, you should set up an Agony Uncle thread.

Folk who have doubts about their relationships can drop you a line and you can tell them whether they are married to a psychotic paraplegic who is going to leave them with more holes than a South African colander.

PS. Best character judge I ever knew was our old Sunday League manager. Went to Wembley to see England play France years ago. Went in a boozer in the town, and there were a couple or three dozen NF types singing "No Surrender" and Sieg Heil-ing.

After 20 mins, old Bill mutters into his pint, "They're bloody Nazzies them lot."

No pulling the wool over HIS eyes.
