My kids got a quid a tooth.
I ask the kids who come in my shop, and they get up to a fiver!

That is £100 that their daft parents have set themselves up for!

Just a bit of advice for you, get them to place the tooth in a money bag, envelope or container. This makes it easier for the tooth fairy to find the tooth in the dark, then you swap the tooth for the coin. I rummaged around for about ten minutes once and couldn't find it , but left the quid anyway. Loads of questions next day , as my sceptical lad was trying to test the validity of fairy belief by swallowing the tooth to hide it and make it difficult for the poor bloody fairy!
