Rovrum fans....

Feeling sorry for us on FH, because JR has gone?

Has it come to this?  He said "If Tony Stewart pulled out, we'd be in trouble, as well"?

Well don't worry! He will, just like JR. These guys have not got a bottomless pit of cash. Tony Stewart has already put £30million in to RUFC and will be on his way soon.

Tony Stewart has put little into RUFC. What he has done is to spearhead an investment consortium. It is a worry because sooner or later the investors will want to see a return on their money. As an entity  Rotherham United FC own very little, they are seen as a financial liability due to recent happenings. As I understand it, the stadium and assets are owned by a holding company.

Would the above be the case for us if Sequentia took over?

I'm not sure if Doncaster Rovers is a registered company.

Hedge funds, which I understand the Sequentia Capital to be, would certainly be looking for a return on their money. This is where the worry lies, and a topic which has been discussed elsewhere.

They will want a return on their money but not necessarily out of the club, it's what owning the club may lead to which will make them the money.
