Typical BBC
« on December 27, 2013, 09:34:02 pm by IDM »
Getting it wrong, again....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25482151

"Doncaster have not won any of the last 11 meetings, all of which have been league games. Rovers' last victory over Millwall was a 2-1 win in the old Division Three in December 1982."

Never mind of course the 2-1 home win in 2010 and the 3-0 win at Millwall in 2008...

The official website are just as bad. Yesterday their preview of the game said, we didn't do well against them last season. Bit hard as we were in different divisions.

Unbelievable. It's not difficult to check recent seasons results. And we're paying for the BBC!

Has anyone here ever taken them up on their total Rovers stupidity? It's beyond a joke.

apparently we were in the Championship last year as well...

'Millwall have won the last three meetings between the teams, including a Championship double over Doncaster last season'

I did point out their error in this preview, and to be fair, they have changed it now.

For the second game in a row, the official site gets something wrong in the build up to the game. They state we have never completed the double over Queens Park Rangers. We did it in 1951/52. Bad that the BBC get things wrong but when it is our own clubs website it is shocking.

So we haven't won at their ground since 1952 and have never drawn there?  :s

The BBC use the Press Association for non-Premier League match previews, live match text and post-match reports.
