PDX,Bates and Harvey left Leeds in a financial pickle, they mortgaged season tickets and hospitality areas to fund the redevelopment of the East Stand. That was a curious thing to do seeing as nobody knows who owns the stadium! Strange coincidence that Harvey told the Select committee looking into football governance that he didn't know who owned the club, and hey presto when the PL said they wouldn't allow Leeds into the PL without knowing who owned the club Bates suddenly managed to find the owners and buy it. Sound familiar?
Harvey was also at Bradford City when they went into administration. It was reported at the time that Leeds entered administration that the FA were looking at Harvey's role. In this, i.e. Using knowledge gained at City to Leeds benefit.
