Proper derby. Probably should have won but at least they didn't get a win. Bowery looks a player! Husband my MOTM

Good game let down by a poor ref should have put them to the sword when we was 2-1 up then to put cotterill on for bowery was wrong if forrester wasnt fit for the finial few mins then peterson should have been brought on

Good derby game, should have put it to bed but we seemed to be crawling our way to the finishing line for the last 15 & got what we deserved in the end.  Bizarrely we started playing again for the last few minutes !!!
Main thing, we didn't lose.

Players looked really tired compared to Barnsley who looked like they could have gone on another 20 mins. That Oldham fan that came on here said whilst PD was in charge their fitness levels dropped, something to work on.

Possibly D2D but tbf we do play a high tempo game, it must be hard to maintain for the full 90.
As has been said on here before, we have to work harder than most teams in order to get results at this level. Barnsley, however, shouldn't fall into that category surely.

A draw was probably a fair result, for whatever reason we didn't seem as composed at the back as we have in recent games. Johnstone made up for his indecision for their first goal with a couple of good saves in the second half. Non of the goals were particularly clean, our keepers indecision for their first, defensive mix up for Copps to tap in, nice little deflection for Copps second and i'm not sure how the ball got thru so many legs for their striker to knock in, but as has been mentioned before , we didn't lose

I hope we don't rue these 2 points dropped, because that's what they were, 2 points dropped. We were excellent for 60 minutes, we then proceded to look like what Barnsley were, p--s poor. We annoyingly let them off the hook by suddenly finding the inability to put 2 passes together, then we brought on the wrong sub, Cotterill is not the player to bring on to help protect a 2-1 lead in a local derby. It was crying out for someone to put a foot on the ball & get the passing going again. Forrester should have  been brought on to give us new impetus. Manager & players have to take some blame as to the reason we didn't take the 3 points, Barnsley really were there for the taking.

for 70 mins the best side (mind without creating bags of scoring oppertunities in fairness) we then get the second goal and totally switch off. You cannot do that and expect to get away with it . Barnsley whilst not a great side showed sime determination to get the point and got it . Maybe we thought at two one up that is that , and then deservedly got caught out.

I would have taken a point before but am dissapointed that we let the extra points slip than tge one we got.

Also how good is the lad from utd in the sticks? Two top class saves, commands the box and looks so conifident its unreal. He has a great future

Could be wrong, but it looked as though Cotts missed his tackle.  Husband was left in no mans land as a result.

It was Husband. The throw-in was thrown past Cotts, but JH was in a great position to stop the cross and failed to do so.
