I see Barnsley had sold 2400 as of this morning. Far more than what we took there.
We had sold 5800.

The vast majority of our fans either have a season ticket or buy a ticket on the day. Why are you transfixed with advanced sales? They tell you absolutely nothing.

It's a good indication of what the attendance will be. We usually sell around 500-700 on the day.

Being a Barnsley fan is akin to having the same two weeks holiday in Cleethorpes every year, it's boring and nothing ever happens

I don't see the problem with Barnsley having more "active" fans than us; historically they have been a division above us including when attendances were at their peak in the 80's and 90's. And of course their season in the premier league would have helped their fan base too.

It's inevitable that they will want to sing more than us today. When all's said and done, they are playing the mighty Doncaster Rovers.........whereas we're only playing Barnsley.

In the main, people sing when they are happy, leaving Barnsley for a few hours is probably the most joyous thing to happen to most of them
