If your wanting ''King of the Smug'' there's an out on his own winner-step forward Brendan Rodgers,and bring your teeth with you,he's got a head like a squashed orange,teeth like Arkle,and the smugness that he's already won four European cup's,the way he'd tell it he could learn Bill Shankly or Bob Paisley a thing or two,god help everyone if he wins the league,he loves himself so much,he's already chomping on the outer peel,i just hope he doesn't get to the juicy segments,and if he does,i hope he get's a monster pip!!

No nothing like that Sam,i admire how he plays football,well how his team does,it's like every interview he thinks he's telling you something about football,that you don't already know,he's like a ''Football Encyclopedia''complicating a very simple game,it's crap half what he says,the key to winning matches,is getting a good keeper who stops things,defenders who stop strikers scoring,midfielder's who create chances and stop the other team doing the same,and strikers who score regular.

Now there is a man to dislike and dead smarmy to boot. I do understand the Rodgers thing though, he does preach and over complicate the obvious.
I do like him though. Back to Pearson and his haircut which BST referred to earlier ; it certainly doesn't help his case.

To paraphrase an American Football coach, all you need to be a successful manager is a faithful wife, a loyal dog and a prolific goalscorer- not necessarily in that order.

I don't know about Mrs Rodgers or any canine companions, but Brendan Rodgers does have Suarez- and Sturridge as well.

What bugs me about Rodgers is that he seems to take the credit for making Swansea what they are. For me it was Martinez that instilled the way they play and laid the foundations for what was to follow.

True i'd be smug with those two in my team,just sit back and watch the goals fly in!!,Martinez did start the way Swansea play,Rodgers had the good sense to carry a winning formula on,i'll give him that,Souness comes to mind with Liverpool of someone who rips the whole thing up unnecassarily,so he has got some good sense in his ''Orange loaf'',Dalglish didn't do everything right,but in the long run a lot of his signings have come off,Henderson,i admit he paid a lot but a good player,Suarez the best of the lot seven and a half million what a steal,if they had give Dalglish one more season,i'm convinced they would still be where they are,Rodgers is a good manager,but yet again he's fallen on his feet.
