The instrumental to 'call me maybe' makes me cringe before 2nd half kick off too.

Can we have a 'Personally, I don't care' option!?

Or maybe we're just better off getting rid of this silly American idea.

I've often thought of piping some extra recorded crowd celebration sounds through the stadium P.A. to create a fuller atmosphere, not too loud, just enough to bolster the original celebratory sounds,
leave the away support wondering as well. Just use what we've got to our advantage. Can't do any harm.

I don't like it but the form we are in at home we have to keep it. I am a silly superstitious idiot.

With you on that one! My red rovers hoody has never seen us lose yet, so superstitions will be appeased until we are safe

Didn't notice it get taken away, didn't notice it come back. I never hear it above my cheering anyway.

The only thing I would say. Once the initial cheers subside, the goal music does keep the celebration going it little longer.

DBR - I see it differently, it stifles the natural chant that used to follow the cheer when music wasn't played

Kids love it jumping about to it. Leave them to it. Shove your fingers in your ears if it upsets you.

Someone suggested Centrefold by J Geils Band last time this subject arose. I'd change to the instrumental in that, not heard it anywhere else.

This is what Germany do, here are the songs of each Bundesliga team: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1_ICLBFhes

We definitely can't do Gary Glitter!!

I'd go for the first one. Bayer Leverkusen.

Get rid altogether, and let traditional crowd sounds make a comeback, there was a buzz that went round the crowd at Belle vue, once the they had announced the goal,i'm all for trying new things,i just don't think it suits our game, some of the foreign teams have a guy on a megaphone whipping up an atmosphere,i'd rather hear that than goal music personally.

Usually it was just ..............Who are ye Who are ye

Could be ... we can see you sneaking out OR .......Bye Bye Bye Bye .....or in the right situation of course 2-0 and you f****d it up 2-0

Personally I have always longed for the Chant "In our Library 1-0! or "to the Empty Seats 1-0"
ot even "to the s**t support 1-0"

I would not change anything at this stage of the Season

I voted to keep the music. I'm with bigal on this- don't change anything now and then give it proper consideration in the close season.

I'm not against the goal music at all- just think it needs changing every now and again. Same with the music played as the teams run out and at half-time.

I've always wanted the goal music to be "one step beyond" by Madness, I think it sounds how we all feel when we score...
