I'm new to twitter - for work purposes but I am following @drfc official. I have just looked and they have almost 100,000 followers. Now clearly we don't have that many fans and at a quick glance the majority our one directioners.
Am I right to presume this figure has dramatically increased over the last few days?
In fairness though we will be world famous - that's never a bad thing
It's a shame most of these followers will know nothing about football

It's been like that for some time now but it continues to increase. We're almost certainly the most followed club in the league one and above most championship clubs as well.

Sheff Wed - 55k
Forest - 85k
Derby 72k

QPR - 172k

QPR only one I can find who are higher than us. Now promoted of course, whoops.

Think we was about 22nd in a league table of all clubs official twitter feeds from England but that was 4 months ago approx
