No, much too early to commit to that.

That's me not able to go to Bramall Lane, then! from 3pm on a bank holiday to 7:45 on the next working day when I need to be about 185 miles away. Brilliant!  :-(

I wouldn't mind but there is no reason at all for it except some poor analysis which would indicate that the average fan would probably be stuck in a traffic jam to some coastal resort for a day out at the slots.

Quality fixture that, Tuesday night at brammall lane, proper fixture. If it was in the dead of winter, say early January then even better. But you can't beat a Tuesday night South Yorkshire derby.

Remember the atmosphere on the platform that Tuesday night when O'connor scored the winner there. Amazing Scenes.

I'm guessing the plods have something to do with it. They probably increase their charges on a Bank Holiday, so the Blunts may have decided the costs of staging the game on Monday don't add up.

Will be ironic if the game is then chosen by Sky and moved back to the Monday. I suppose then the TV money will justify the cost outlay.

Shef W and Barnsley home on Sat, Rotherham and Chesterfield on Monday, according to the FL website.  However that site hasn't updated our Easter fixtures yet....
