Three experiments and you're out. Let's hope Dick and Terry are still committed.

It all boils down to JR not having £5m in the bank which is the FL minimum requirement.

This was a f*** up from the start . They don't deserve season ticket holders . It's maybe time for a fans buy out and rise and fall on loyal
Supporters . JR is a gentleman and true supporter in EVERY way but he just never had the backing of the a Town or the Business community and he is not got the money required to keep the club a float particularly after relegation . The bubble has definitely burst . Let's just hope who ever is running the club start to court buyers with money not just pipe dreams.

If what JR says is right and it is the FL not approving him and LT as fit and proper persons to run the club, whether you support or don't support them, the football league needs come out and explain why they do not meet the requirements to run a football club, especially as JR ran the Rovers for 16+ years.

Ryan / Tomlinson only aware very recently, though how 5 million not there between them is weird.

So we have what we have ( unless TB/DW invite others to join them ).

Is it, paperwork provided to FL gave proof that he had funds above that was required - or so JR says

Technically yes.
But how many football club owners don't have £5m in the bank. Quite a lot I would suggest.
There are lots of millionaires about but ask them to be able to withdraw £5m from the bank and they wouldn't have the funds to.

From the RS interview is seems JR is suggesting he provided paperwork showing he had assets well above the £5m mark (his own words). Not cash - which would seem to be what the FL want proof of.

Maybe he should have got a bank statement like SC did or didnt with 60 or 40 or 20 million on

Farcical.
That clown at Leeds gets green light even though he's a criminal, the Wednesday bloke gets green light even though he's dodgy as.
Yet john Ryan can't even though he's run a club previously for 16 years...
It's a nonsense

Having just listened to the JR Interview, question is where is all the love and passion JR had for the game. To state that he isn't going to another football match is begging for sympathy. Well he ain't getting any from me. I'll happily buy his parking spot for a fiver. Bye bye JR.

Agreed. He'll always be remembered for what he did but he's tarnishing his reputation.

He's ruined two summers now and potentially two seasons as well as the experiment year we should have come down to this division thinking we can be a strong side. But now every team in this league is off to a head start over us he has treated this club as a toy for the past 3 years he can f*** off now.

A lot of it used to keep DRFC afloat

I'm a HUGE fan of JR and am shocked to see this happen. I was also looking forward to a young ambitious lad from Donny joining in and maybe bringing in a new generation of support. But we became a joke with all the directioneers tweeting etc...now over to TB and DW let's hope they carry on where they left off....quietly running the club and running us on a sustainable budget. I don't care about the premier league, I don't care about the Championship....but I do care about DRFC.

JR has had a lot of cheap talk lately, he is now not walking the walk.

I love him for what he has done for us in the past...but time to move on.

Paul Dickov must really be going mental with this!

I don't know if the takeover is off, I don't even know if it's ever been on. We've been told to wait for this date of 18th July, which is fast approaching, but the quiet has been highly unusual. I'd be more surprised if anyone is actually surprised at this latest supposed twist.

I'm not sure if it means the end of it, it's impossible to know that without knowing if it started, whatever it is.

Unless the appeal would magic money into his bank it wouldn't do much.
