What is depressing

- Yes it is bobbins that JR failed to do his homework with the leagues rules on ownership, if he had he wouldnt have bothered with the takeover.
-  Yes, it is poor organisation that the bid was not resolved earlier than 17th July, not much time to deal with the fallout.
-  Yes, its pants that many players have left.  Bare in mind their  what contracts they were on and the money they want to sign.
-  Yes, its depressing that the donny public cant be arsed to support its sporting clubs.  Even when rovers were in the championship they couldnt be arsed.  The town doesn't deserve sporting success because it doesnt show its clubs the support they need.
-  Yes its depressing knowing we wont be forking out on old has beens, trying to rebuild our team for the umpteenth time.


What saddens me the most though, are fellow rovers fans.  RTID??? My arse!!!!  Get refunds and  cut off your noses to spite your faces.   Carry on demanding TB/DW eff off, they may just do that, where then?????  You wont care cos you,ve abandoned Rovers.


Rovers are my team, my release from crap times and the working week.   My 4yo is just getting into it and when he saw the away kit, he was asking me for it straightaway.  As long as were are playing togger I'll be there.

Everyone is entitled to moan but only the people directly involved know exactly what is happening - not the fans.

I don't get all this talk about refunds. A lot of fans including fans on this forum have watched rovers for a long long time and we have witnessed our fair share of shite.

We still have a club. We still have a team. We still have rich owners who have done enormous amounts for the club - and so what they do it quietly and behind closed doors.

We still have some experienced players and some good young players.

We still have Dickov who is a positive man. We still have Rob Jones who is a natural born leader

For those fools who are overreacting spare a thought for HEREFORD fans!

If you are proud to say Rovers 'til I die then mean it, believe it and for FFS DO IT!!!!

Being a Rovers fan is never dull. Can't wait for the new season and if we have a team of teenagers then i will still support them 100%

Great post CoventryRover

I was a season ticket holder during Richardson era.  Admittedly don't go much now due to working most Saturday's (which kills me, I'd much rather be watching Rovers home or away, just ask the other half!) I do get though sometimes). The results and ownership was depressing then, but I kept going hoping we could pull off a result.

Who knows maybe this could work.

I know were not Man Utd but wasn't it Alan Hanson who said

"You'll win nothing with kids" rest is history.

We'll have to keep the faith and since 1990 Rovers has been in my life, you don't just swap and change and get mardy just because its not going right.

I'll still be optimistic until its mathematically impossible to get promoted.
