Just wondered how many were successful in obtaining season ticket refunds this morning in view of the amount who said they were going to the ground for them.

Spoke earlier with a friend who had been in the ticket office this morning. He was told 8 had asked for refunds.

While I am disappointed that we are leaking players to all and sundry and confused given the contradictory statements regarding the budget, I am perhaps most annoyed that people are asking for refunds on Season Tickets. Childish and petulant doesn't even begin to describe their actions.

If someone has had a change in their personal circumstances since originally buying it, eg redundancy, divorce etc and is need of the money then fair enough but simply demanding a refund because the budget isn't big enough is poor indeed.

The budget isn't going to get any better by supporters withdrawing funds. I am equally frustrated by suggestions that the board should put in more money, offer PD a budget beyond the clubs means or sell up.

Why should they? They have been doing that along with JR for the past 7/8 seasons, eventually something had to give. PD was well backed last season and through no fault of the present board it didn't work out.

 I'm sure the board will sell if someone wants the club. The fact that they were prepared to right off their loans to facilitate a takeover is fairly conclusive in that respect. I am worried of the implications of another SC style bid, but the truth people are not knocking the door down to take on a loss making, league one club on gates of 7000.

It is going to be a difficult season, undoubtedly, but to me that is the deal you make when you pick your team. Ups and downs. We've had them both and while it looks like we're about to experience a few more downs, if we can get behind the team, rather than stropping about, we might be pleasantly surprised.

I'm not a season ticket but I will be there for my usual quota of games irrespective of who is playing as I'm sure, when the dust settles, we all will.

Proper supporters shouldn't be asking for refunds because they don't like what's happening on the pitch.
But if they start messing around with people's seats and asking them to move then that's a different matter altogether in my opinion.

It's more likely that people are asking for refunds because they dont like what's happening OFF the pitch, not on it.

What if their spending a lot of money on season tickets and now the club still haven't signed anyone with two weeks to go they are asking for a refund as they can't afford to waste money watching a youth team? Do you have any morales whatsoever?
