When do we start blaming Dickov then?  When were back in the conference maybe?

You strike me as a typical football fan that is always impatient for success and when he doesn't get it always blames the manager. If only life were that simple. It is simple people like you that make the job of a football manager virtually impossible these days.
I'm not asking for success.  But is not wanting a second successive relegation battle too much to ask?

Excuse me but it's a bit early to say we're in a relegation battle. Christmas time might be when you might be able to start worrying. What you have to realise and your friends is that blaming the manager at this stage of the season is not going to help. He needs our support. Get behind him and stop making the situation worse than it needs to be.

We are hovering just above the relegation places. We have been hammered by two teams at home who have only won one game each (against us)
Can you not understand why people are concerned?
Exactly how can the situation get worse? It can certainly get better (hopefully) but not sure how you think it can get much worse.

At what point will some people stop blaming JR for the position we are in?

Anyone with half a brain can work out that we'd have at least gained one more point than we did last season if it weren't for JR's antics. I'll stop blaming him when we're back in the Championship.

I'm surprised you are not still blaming Ken Richardson.

I can understand your concern. However what you and your friends have to realise is that if you start demanding that the manager should be sacked you are going to heap unnecessary pressure on him and the team and relegation will become a self fulfilling prophecy.

It really makes my piss boil that most football fans can't work this simple fact out for themselves. Luckily for you all I am the voice of reason and will point out the error of your ways until you are capable of working it out for yourselves.

I am a Rovers fan and a Leeds fan. The 2 things aren't mutually exclusive you know.

I am a realist and realise that Rovers are never going to get in the top league and win the title. However Leeds have already achieved this feat more than once. Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in the world and certainly easily the biggest club in Yorkshire.

All you Rovers and Man Utd fans need to realise that Manchester is in Lancashire. What the hell are you doing supporting a team from across the Pennines?

As a proud Yorkshireman and realist then I can't understand why everyone in Yorkshire doesn't get behind Leeds. They are the only Yorkshire club capable of holding their own against any club in the world.

If you read my posts you'll see I said club not team. There is no doubt whatsoever that Leeds are the biggest club in Yorkshire. If only all true Yorkshiremen would get behind them, they'd soon be the biggest club in the world. Support your local team by all means but if you want some proper glamour and interest in the top club competitions then it is a no brainer that everyone in Yorkshire needs to get behind Leeds.

Why would I want to support another town's team/club?
I am from Doncaster so I support Doncaster Rovers. If I wanted to support a glamour club I wouldn't even look at Leeds. Yorkshire has got nothing to do with it.
What a plank.

Look, don't get me wrong. I think the local team should be supported by all residents of the town. That's why I support Rovers. However you have to be a realist. Doncaster is not Leeds. Rovers is a bit of fun but Leeds is where it can get quite serious. I'm quite happy with Rovers having the occasional dalliance with the Championship but I want more from my love of the sport.

Thats where Leeds comes in. They can provide excitement in the Premier League and Champions League if only the people of Yorkshire would get fully behind them.

Errr, yes they are! Absolutely, totally and com-f*ck*ng-pletely mutually exclusive! It's like loving the wife and loving a mistress - one of those isn't love its lust, so is it L**ds or rovers that is the busty sexy nympho?

I'm a lucky man, my wife is that busty sexy nympho, I am a one woman-man and a one-team man - I understand that not everyone is as lucky as me.

Can safely say that i'm not the one you are thinking of.  infact I've become even less of a contributor since the takeover shambles than I was before.  This is mainloy due to the brainless contributions of others.

I don't include you in that, as generally you are a very erudite contributor and I look forward to many more posts by you.  however there won't be many more from me.  I just thought it better to state that i'm not the alter ego of some wind up merchant......at least I think i'm not.

Hahaha, nice one. Champions league. Hahaha.
No chance, absolutely f**k all chance of Leeds EVER playing in the champions league again. unless a billionaire oil tycoon buys them (which they won't, there's 15/20 better prospected clubs for them to choose from)
The last time leeds were in the champions league, they were vastly punching above their weight, and it pretty much nearly killed the club, something they probably won't recover from. A lower level premiership type club is the best to hope for them nowadays, something like an Aston villa, but not quite as big.
Leeds have played more JPT games than champions league games.
