Voucher 6 or 7
« on October 22, 2014, 08:40:40 am by Donnywolf »
I am a simple bloke - and will probably feel more simple after this but ...

... what is the reason we had to use Voucher 7 and not 6 last night. No doubt lots of people tore out the next in the Book before realising and will now carry a "loose one" in their Book till we play Notts County

Its not as if the Vouchers are printed with the name of the Opponent but there has to be a simple answer and one which I had 90 tedious minutes to come up with last night and failed  :scarf:

It is as its always been. The voucher is numbered for the game as its set out for the start of the season. Notts County was the 6th game on the home fixture list so is voucher 6. It's never changed, and surely isn't rocket science. Just take your season ticket to the match as you're asked to and let the turnstile operator rip it out as you're advised to.

Yes the above 2 points are both valued

The Operators DO shout as yesterday Match 7 - and there is a note on the Gate (well the one I go through) .... BUT ... whilst accepting Notts County was the 6th game in the fixture list and was allocated as Voucher 6 I am still wondering WHAT reason stopped the Club just accepting that the fixture never took place and taking Voucher 6 last night ?

Its not Rocket Science I accept ... but also why has it never changed. To me there seems NO reason why a STBook does not contain 23 Vouchers which gives you entry to 23 home games in whatever order you rip em out

Anyone else ?

maybe they've already created an excel spreadsheet with the numbers next to the opposing team names, and it would be an administrative NIGHTMARE to go and edit it...

It got me too, let's hope I don't lose match 6, was a bit trickier what with being searched etc on entry.

It is done this way incase people have swapped seats for this game. So the ticket office will have taken voucher 6 out of the persons book .

No, the ticket office shouldn't be taking voucher 6, because it will be needed for the notts county game?

They take it out and give them a match ticket like you would get if you were buying an individual match ticket.

I am perhaps not as simple as I look (RTR need not interject thanks lol)

It appears that like me nobody seems to actually KNOW - based on the replies above

Winegums explanation may be right but if it is not what is the reason ?

I know another who fell victim. Good news is when we get smart cards it won't be an issue.

New offer from Rovers.

Trade in two future season ticket games and receive one ticket in return.
