Westons Home game tonight
« on November 11, 2014, 12:12:49 pm by Dagenham Rover »
postponed due to waterlogged pitch

"The Somerset FA Premier Cup Match with Bridgwater Town Tuesday 11 November has been postponed. The pitch is unplayable and further heavy rain is forecast for the remainder of the week. A new date will be announced later."

http://westonsmareafc.co.uk/somerset-fa-premier-cup-postponed/

Doesn't sound too promising for next week

Do you know what the donkeys on Weston Super Mare's beach get for their dinners?

They might as well postpone it now and let us play Notts County in the JPT.

I think we just have to put up with it and hope the weather clears up. The situation isn't anyones "fault".

Why cant they switch it to one of the Bristol grounds.

I hope this doesn't happen. It's the sort of thing premier league and even championship clubs have suggested when we've had to postpone matches at the Keepmoat before; let's not try and be Billy Big B*llocks and let them try their best to get the pitch playable, which I'm sure they will do.

Really?? When and who? Im surprised at that.I think if its at a ground where it is currently experiencing many problems/cancelations due to extreme weather/pitch conditions(occasionally it happens to individual clubs) then it's a viable option, but not if the cancelation is almost certainly just a one off.I maybe wrong, but I cannot think off any fixture at Keepmoat postponed more than once due to the condition of keepmoat alone.

Yeovil, Bristol City or Rovers won't want an extra match played on their pitches right now, what with the weather down here and the prospect of Donny fans coming and trashing their towns with their loud shouting.

It was Bridgwater in the version I used to sing, although I think there are a number of "regional variations."
