Tactical Loan Deals
« on February 28, 2015, 01:05:33 am by Sammy Chung was King »
Am i being paranoid or is this the part of the season, when a few 'Tactical loan deals' are done?, i have noticed a few already.
Jamie Jones goalkeeper loaned to Rochdale from Preston, Rochdale's fixtures include

Bristol City away
Scunthorpe home
Oldham away
ourselves away
Swindon home
Gillingham away
MK Dons home

The other one centre back Karleigh Osbourne  loaned from Bristol city to Colchester who face

Ourselves away
Gillingham away
Swindon home
Preston home
Scunthorpe home
Chesterfield away

There are no rules to stop this and City should be safe for promotion as should Preston for the play-offs.
But is it just me that thinks both teams are trying to strengthen a 'non threatening' for promotion team to take some points from some of City and Preston's promotion rivals?
And has anybody noticed any other moves of players apart from the two mentioned?

Another one Jamal Campbell-Ryce Sheff utd to Notts County***

here we are

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/transfers/

Notts County apart from signing "campbells souper rice-pudding" on loan they have also signed paddy mccourt on loan he's irish by the way (see below)

so their decline is going to come to a halt

great story regarding mcourt - he was a substitute in notts counties last match was just about to come on the pitch and make his debut when the 4th official noticed his shirt number didn't match the team sheet so he wasn't allowed on

do you remember when that notts county player (substituted) got sent off at the keepmoat this season

why is it County have a problem with substitutes ???

SCWK

Would not say you were being paranoid but personally one man does not make a team and I personally am not bothered who goes where as long as we are ok

The loaning Clubs may think that way (tactically) but most are probably trying to develop their Player by giving them game time / opportunity elsewhere and they of course send "scouts" to watch their player and his development or lack of it. We got Uche that way as Watford having loaned him to Crewe wanted him more involved in a chase for promotion rather than a (then) relegation dog fight at Crewe and so we got him

The Preston keeper has probably gone down one in the pecking order due to arrival recently of Sam ?

I disagree with one man doesn't make a team. Take Chesterfield for example, look what's happened to them since Doyle was sold.

One man doesn't make a team, but sometimes just one weakness being plugged gives confidence to the rest to be able to do their jobs.
Butler for us look at the difference he has made to the solidity of the team, with his transfer it wasn't a tactical loan, it seemed more like he was signed then the manager decided he didn't fit the side.

Paddy McCourt what a player he can be on his day, then other days you don't notice him he reminds me of Coppinger in that way absolutely unplayable when he is on form.
Campbell-Ryce he looked fantastic in their cup run can't understand that one at all.

I agree to a point deebee, Maradona was as near to making Argentina a one man team, i don't think usually you can just rely on one player, because if they stop him your team won't do anything.
Doyle going from them means they don't have the confidence they can out score teams, it makes the defence more edgy to keep a clean sheet, they are having to be more solid and nick games 1-0.

That's why i think our side are the most dangerous side for any of the others to face, we have players that can chip in with a goal all over the pitch, MK Dons are also a side like that on a more prolific rate than we have managed.
Our side in horse racing terms has Course and Distance experience the others don't, i'm not getting ahead of myself a lot of points and wins to play for, good start today.

Lol Sammy!

I quote, from your post above:

"Butler for us look at the difference he has made to the solidity of the team"

So what's that if it's not one bloke making the team?

For what it's worth - Karleigh Osbourne is the worst CB I have ever seen down at the Keepmoat (from memory), how he is a pro is beyond me!
