Is it in his terms of contract that he has to play every match? Cos that's the only reason I can see why PD is starting him.

He shows no passion, he looks totally uninterested in every game I've seen him play, and if you blew on him he'd fall over and try to claim a foul!!

Utter garbage and I for one would rather start Main and Tyson, and have kept Theo for the bench, as well as the youngsters. At least they'd have fire going in to a game!!

Isn't it funny how almost every striker we've signed in the last couple of years has been shite?

Sharp - shite
Bowery - shite
Robinson - shite
Main - shite
Ikpeazu - shite
Clarke-Harris - shite

Or maybe it's something else that has been right under our noses the whole time? Hmmmm.

He failed to chase a ball last night and let Copps chase it down from 20 yards behind him, to me he looks to have the wrong attitude and a lazy mindset

Don't think thats lazy just his style. Tyson is a player who will chase everything down, you don't get that with JCH.

He's diabolical. Seen him 3 times now and I still couldn't tell you what he's good at.

It beggars belief we lost Uche because we couldn't give him a run in the side, yet this carthorse starts most weeks.

Give me a break Dare to dream. His style!? His style is to stroll round disinterested and not break a sweat? Nonsense. I'm in danger of agreeing with Filo here which is never good but he's a lazy Kitson.

Well that's my opinion, the same way Stock strolled around the park, just their playing styles.

The commentary was wrong, He was nowhere near offside, I was directly in line with him

If he isn't going to chase everything down then he needs to bring something very good to the party. And that is...?

I was close to being in line and also thought he was offside so it's possible to assume in that instance he thought the same so did well to check his run in fairness.

Over all though he's not someone who puts his physique to use like Hansen did for Bradford. As for him playing regularly I don't think these things are ever written in to deals but common sense dictates there must be some logic that the player will play a lot. Otherwise the parent club wouldn't sanction the loan.

He did have numerous options to choose from when he was offered to go on loan and he chose Rovers.  You would imagine that at some point in the negotiations, promises were made about starting matches, which is something he hadn't been doing at Rotherham.

I have seen him three times now and he hasn't impressed at all.  It may be the formation or the job he has been asked to do for the team?

That said, I saw more ability, skill, determination and desire in ten minutes from Mandeville who deserves his chance on Tuesday night.

well

did you know he is the youngest player to make his debut for coventry

16 years 21 days according to wikipedia

NOW WHEN HE SCORED THAT GOAL FOR ROVERS AGAINST COVENTRY CAN ANY "GOLDFISH FANS" (SHORT MEMORIES) OUT THERE REMEMBER HIM TAKING HIS SHIRT OFF ETC ETC when he scored against the club that gave him his breakthrough THE OTHER WEEK

so decide for yourself whether he showed passion when he scored

wait for it wikipedia tells us "Clarke-Harris thanked the fans and everyone at the clubs for support of his progression during his first season with the club, and he vowed to work even harder and to "continue scoring goals for Oldham Athletic"."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonson_Clarke-Harris

got a feeling he's one of these players that needs to be a multi-dimensional manager   -- someone to build his confidence up etc

as other posters have said all the strikers have been described as $hite maybe rovers have a one dimensional manager ??

He was offside, but that was cause he was  too slow at getting back onside from the previous attack.

During the pre game warm up which was directly in front of me I paid particular attention to him. and one or two near him, he was totally uninterested and no real effort, cutting the corner at the cone more and more, no smile nothing. Apart from having the credentials of playing for Oldham and scoring against us, he offers not much else although a good manager would be able to get him to utilise his size more.

Our season is over at this time and like many others say, I would send him back and save the cash, we are already paying the young players a wage so why not let them play, learn their trade under Copps and one or two others and see if they can handle the grit, after all not much to loose and many ofwhat I have seen of late will surely not be here next term IMO
