Remember 1976 Billy? Derbyshire had a match snowed off, in June, in Buxton! Yet that was the hottest, driest and fantasticest summer of my life!

It was actually 1975, Bob. I attended the first day of that game, which was a lovely warm, sunny day. On the second day, a Monday, it snowed.

1975 wasn't a bad summer though not as good as 76.

Oh bugger! I knew it was 1 or t'other.

I liked 75. It was a stonkingly good summer by any standards - except 1976! Even better - I was a student right through both years :) Happy days.
