The loss yesterday...
« on August 23, 2015, 08:36:50 am by colincramb »
I couldn't have been less bothered. It pains me to say it but I really didn't care. That's just how I feel about the club now. I was at a family party and we even had a chuckle about it. I was half tempted to go on Wednesday night (thank god I didn't) but something just said to me 'why bother with the hassle'. That's how I see it now, a chore. In the last 3 years my attendance at rovers games has declined each season, to the point now where I really don't care if I go again this season.

Sorry for the negativity, just how I feel. Not sure what the answer is to get the club out of this rut, but it's clear we are going backwards

Colin,
I have been here many times before over the last 55years but its an addiction and my support will always be there.
Like you, I am down with these results, chin up it will improve but I don't know when certainly not on Tuesday, or will it? Thats football, you don't know whats round the corner, relegation/promotion or even a good cup run. Whatever, I will be there when I can make it.

I will be watching the Belles today at Millwall perhaps a bucket load of goals will distract me a little?

Just think of what the Belles have been through with their enforced relegation.

We always play shit at PV. He's on borrowed time though.

I feel exactly the same over the past three seasons and I just put it down to the sheer lack of excitement. Results are important but to me the performances are what excites fans and makes us proud

He should have been on borrowed time for the last 12 months he's an absolutely shocking manager.

The last two seasons he has got us into good positions with a few months of the season to go. We were all but safe in the championship and last season we were in the top 6 and handily placed to deliver a promotion push. It's not all been under performing.

It's been shite to watch 90% of the time though.

If performance or results aren't good then he needs to go.

The final league position is what matters in the end though Gaz.
That is the platform for the following season. This dictates how much work needs doing in the close season.

Not a true fan. Stay at your family partys. Win, loose or draw you should always be the same. I hate so called fans like you

Only reason we got into the top 6 briefly last season was because we had a run of games in February against teams who were really struggling at the time.

We won 3 in a row against Crawley, Yeovil and Crewe, two of which were in the bottom 4 and the other was only a couple of places above (Crewe). Even in the Crewe game we were plodding and ponderous and it took a last minute screamer from Wellens to win it against a team that had a defence like a sieve and conceded on average more than 2 goals per away game over the season.

Other than that, we weren't serious play-off contenders at any point during the season.

After over 2 seasons, results aren't improving, performances are getting worse, and it's still nigh-on impossible for most of us to see what Paul Dickov is trying to do with this team. We seem to have no identity or principles to fall back on, and we're stuck in a no-man's land as far as I can see.
