I think the person being taken for a ride is you, for believing what a member of a boy band tweeted.

LT's probably a nice kid but he is naive on these issues, he even let JR take him for a ride on the takeover issue because he was friends with PD. If my friend had just been dismissed I'd probably be on his side too. That doesn't make him right.

But if he was your friend maybe he might have told you what the budget was.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion though, as those who seem to give it all the time keep reminding us. And there's been a lot worse said about our owners and club in the past than they've made a "silly, silly decision". In fact, I've also heard many people on here before also complain about a lack of budget.

Well, everyone shot me down about LT on this forum a few weeks ago. This kid is absolutely clueless and naive as possibly could be. Until he develops a brain or puts some money into the club he is irrelevant to me.

He should probably shut up as well because the irony of his statements is there for all to see after his failed take-over.

BST, nobody says they are but that doesn't mean we have to believe everything some say, and not others.

I keep an air of healthy scepticism about me whenever anyone talks about money.

But my simple take is that the club wouldn't be viable if the present owners weren't funding our not inconsiderable shortfall. And so, in the absence of anyone offering seriously to take the club off their hands, I tend towards being grateful to them.

And the point is...he might be right.

Mights and maybe's. But I'd rather take the word of people who are subsidising the club to a very large degree than an ill informed boy band member. One who fell for the takeover trick foisted on him by certain 'friends' of his.

As I've said, he's probably a good guy who wants the best for the club, but being naive in these matters doesn't give him any credibility, large twitter following or not.

Louis Tomlinson is stupid and naive for saying what he said. But equally so is Ryan Murrant for responding and insulting him(?) his fans, who undoubtedly have increased our global publicity via social media whilst some have also put their money into the club via charity games, merch etc.
