Very difficult job for do with what he has inherited.been very noticeable for some time the weakness of our defence.listening to radio Sheff appear to be running us ragged although Tyson just rattled bar.

Due to it being only defence we have, bringing in poor players, injury prone and no pace

The players are Just not good enough for league 1.

But they are. Our attack should cause problems but it doesn't.  It's the midfield. It neither creates or protects the back 4.

Not listening to the game but just seen our subs on the BBC site - Taylor-Swift on for Chaplow and Forrester on for Williams, what's that all about?

I have no idea why N'Guessan isn't getting a game for us.

Well, it's probably a true reflection of he team at the moment. It's probably a good thing to get a thrashing early to give the full picture. Onwards.

Fergie won't be under any illusion as to the task ahead after today.I think we might see at least one new face by the end of next week or maybe more.

I thought there'd be a few goals today, was just hopeful they wouldn't all be in this direction. :(

New face? Yeah probably the manager. Wouldn't blame him if he changed his mind after today!

I was going to post something similar. Getting tonked in the second game in charge can't be the worst thing in the grand scheme. Hopefully it shows up things as they really are and is the catalyst for some proper changes.

You have to feel sorry for the fans that have made the journey.

Our defence isn't good enough. DF has a LOT of work to do

Fergie must be pissed off at getting hammered at Posh of all places.

We had strong words and "decisive actions" from both PD and Rob Jones to no avail, will DF make any difference?

On some very basic level this squad is simply not good enough to survive in this league. We still have no regular (decent) full backs at the club and the midfield is not athletic, big enough, or quick enough to get up and down the pitch and control games. Second balls is an important term in this scrappy frenetic league and I bet my cock we're the lowest in the league for winning them. Without Keshi, we also don't have a strike force.

Some of the riff raff that Dickov has left us need to be shipped out the nearest non-league club that will take them.

TBH it could have been a similar result in the Shrewsbury game with the good chances they missed.

Changes much needed.

Copps can u blame just pd,everyone keeps saying there is money there but it never materializes till January, the team was not good enough last year and the defense is far worse,I just don't think there is enough money to get decent players in

To people expecting a 'turn-around' under Fergie - what players are you actually expecting him to turn it round with? Harry '50%' Forrester? Taylor-Swift? Middleton? Because that was our bench today!

Our defence isn't good enough. DF has a LOT of work to do

And we can't score and it appears the midfield is shite as well. So I reckon that means we're not very good.
Without any doubt we are in a relegation fight.
And wether anyone likes it or not: Mr Bramall and Watson are going to have to put their hands in their very deep pockets.
If they don't, were only going in one direction

Excited that he might play Middleton instead of Chaplow? I wouldn't get your hopes up.

On to Millwall, onwards and upwards. To be honest with the players we have, I do not know how DF can change it around.

Chill folks.. Yes we had a shocker today but the players don't become permanently bad overnight.  We do have players in the squad good enough for the division, BUT Ferguson needs to get them playing to their abilities.

The defence needs strengthening and somehow we need to get confidence back into the forward players..

Lots of hyperbole on the forum tonight, and understandable as folks are angry at the performance and the result today.

But this is not the end of the world.
