Tonight the Boro have 10,000 fans backing them at old Trafford. It's a good turnout for a midweek game and reminds me of the numbers we took to Everton back in the 80s.

It will make Manchester a busy place tonight with City also at home to palace

York beat them at Old Trafford in the League Cup ages ago, believe Andy Warrington was playing for York at the time.

Edit - Just looked and Warrington was an unused sub. Paul Barnes played and scored though in a 3-0 York win.

Also it was 2 legs in those days, United won the second leg at York 3-1 (Warrington did play in that one) so technically they got knocked out at Bootham Crescent.
