I'd like to share with you all some positive news about the ticket cock up at last Saturday's game.
Thanks to Silent Majority, the club were made aware of what happened and yesterday I received a very nice letter in the post from Ryan Murrant, Marketing and Communications Manager at DRFC.
In the letter, Ryan expressed his concern about the inconvenience that led to us missing the first goal and assured me that the club were doing all they could to ensure it doesn't happen again.
Additionally, I received a DVD of the game and a Rovers' card with a nice message that was signed by Andy Williams and James Coppinger.
This was a brilliant gesture from the club that deserves to be shared. Yes, mistakes have been made and probably will be made in the future, but this is a clear indication that the club is trying to get things right. DRFC does care about such issues and are moving in the right direction.
Credit where credit's due. A big well done to the club and thanks to Ryan for taking it seriously and to Martin for following this up with the club.
We're all Rovers.
