They might have slightly better records but it's marginal and they need to catch us

Dickos

If the last 10 games form continues for the next 10, we are down, dead and buried.

It's in our hands. We need probably 9-11 points. But I cannot see where we'll get them from after today.

Of course billy, but if this form continued at the same rate it would be one of the worst runs in our history,
We've still got Crewe Colchester Blackpool to play yet also

We are not going down, no way!. We will beat Scunthorpe on tuesday, the team made a lot of chances today, it's more worrying if you don't.
What we need is an experienced striker brought in, to take some of the strain off the lads up front, and if Keshi Anderson is fit bring him as well, and if the funds are there get a centre back in.
The board need to take it serious, do what's needed to keep us up, and make sure we aren't in this situation again, by building a team

Earlier in the season we were getting more points than they were. Scunthorpe aren't Barcelona!, we have rocked up there many a time and took the points.
We all need to relax a bit, we have good players enough to stay in this league, the players need to make sure from the off against Scunny they work harder than they do.
No fancy stuff, get the ball to your best players and hit the target, and something will drop for you.

Maybe some of us are realising that maybe it wasn't all dickovs fault. Maybe it's just because the club is now being terribly run from the top down(scouting, recruitment, player negotiations etc). If only we had someone running the club with vision , ambition, drive and determination then we might all be more optimistic. Oh wait a minute... We had that but unfortunately many people on here slagged him off as well. In fact so much so that we can ever get him back again. I hope all the anti John Ryan protestors are proud of themselves.

Even if we go down fergie should be given the chance to get rid of the deadwood, rebuild preseason and get us back up. However, I think he'll keep us up and get rid of the deadwood.......etc (there is a lot of it!). You can't blame the manager for defenders ducking out of the way of the ball at the near post, or missing a point blank header into an open net - the players should hang their heads in shame, take the bollocking and show some balls on Tuesday to get us out of trouble!!!!

We may as well liquidate then because he's never coming back so that means we'll never do well again. Is that about right?

You're going to have to remind us all whose watch the decline started under.

And you think that's a positive thing Dickos?  Did you see what happened yesterday against another relegation rival?  The best thing any team below us could have is a game against Doncaster Rovers at present.  In our situation, what we actually need is some other f**ker to be playing everybody below us if we're to have any chance of staying ahead of them.

Is that all they have to do Sammy?  Of course nobody in the club has been able to work that one out yet and impress it on the players.

Before yesterday I would have considered your last sentence a cause for optimism. Not any more.

Much too simplistic.

"Scunthorpe aren't Barcelona".

....and we certainly aren't Real Madrid.

Lincs, you say that we can't blame the manager when players make mistakes, strikers miss sitters etc.

Everyone seemed to blame Dickov when that happened.
How many people wrote about him turning a bunch of good players into bad ones and causing a player like Williams to become a shambling wreck of what he once was.
