I'm sure that they will be saying the same about us.

And we're shite at the back with strikers with next to shit all confidence. Swings and roundabouts.

I just hope Coppinger is fit.

On a positive note we are not in the relegation zone yet, still.

Fergie can tell them all on Saturday to start winning now so we can avoid dropping into it at all.

Bentley

How many times do I have to tell you that I was saying the same thing at the time? I've honestly lost count of the times now.
Example here.

(And yeah... before you start - I f**ked up on predicting how Millwall would do. That's not the point. That was my OPINION which is a shite as every other one round here. That's nothing to do with the final place points prediction.)

As for the current situation, it is totally different to 2013/14. I'd have thought that much was self-evident. We DON'T just need a couple of draws. We're probably going to need something like 8-12 points. So your question is, very much like our current form. Utterly pointless.

I am really tired of dealing with this to be honest. You seem determined to ignore anything I actually write on this topic and to make up what you think I have meant. Carry on by all means, but I'll just pass on replying in future.

As far as I can see ( and that's not very far ), the performances TO DATE have been almost abysmal. DRFC were lucky to beat Barnsley and Crewe at KMS, look where DRFC would be without those two wins, now im sure there may have been other games where DRFC did not get what play deserved to cancel those two wins out, but, I just cant see how DRFC can escape the trap door. Ferguson has tried different personnel, Different formations, or both, end result seems set in stone. So maybe past results count for little, but the trend is there for all to see. Hope to hell im wrong, but cant see escape.

TBH there aren't many of us who think we can avoid the drop now.
Probably the only bloke who cant see we are in a mess is DF.

I would be surprised if DF didn't think that we are in a mess, but isn't going to publicly say so.

Les, if that is the case then why hasn't he addressed the situation with some experienced pro's coming in.
With his emphasis on kids we are certs for going down.

Hound, he thought his emphasis of youth would spark life into a sluggish team, having discarded some experience i.e. Jones and Wellens, the youngsters are like rabbits in headlights, do not have the experience in how to battle in a relegation scrap. I think his over confident management style has backfired big time.

Billy

I thought about not answering your rather offensive post, but Instead I'll give you MY last reply also.

I never said your prediction, suggesting that we only needed 2 points to be safe, based on statistics, didn't turn out to be accurate.  What I've said all along is that in reality it could have just as easily turned out that more than 2 points were required to survive.

I'm absolutely with BB here. BSTs "predictions" seem to be either so broad as to be meaningless, based entirely on hindsight (see the revelations about our last relegation) or simply wrong (hello, top half finish).

Sad.

I refer you to the previous post. There are "predictions" based on my opinion, which are as w**k as anyone else's and w**ker than most.

And then there are the predictions of the final points totals for given positions, based on an (admittedly ad hoc) calculation with no value judgement applied. Which have been precise and accurate to within a point or two for four years in a row. At the very least, they have been far more accurate than the "we need 50 points" approach.

There is a difference.

It's not difficult if you just stop and engage brain for a minute before you wade into the discussion.

It's odd that a bright lad like you should slip up on something as simple and obvious as that (especially since I've said it about a dozen times on here). And it has upset your mates for years too. Maybe the failing's mine?

f**k it. Who cares?

Night night.

Girls,
I've got serotonin. Give me a wink if after all the upset you need some.

Sammy, what if we go down, what next?

Then you whack this on and think about your trip to Barnet...
