We all need to get behind the team like never before in these last ten matches. We can carry them over the line.
The more positive vocal support we give the players now will make the difference between success and failure in our quest to stay up.

I refuse to be miserable until the team have knocked the last bit of enthusiasm out of me. I just hope that we don't concede first.🙄
We must be due to score first, then we can worry about holding onto it.

Idler,

You must have a higher tolerance than me. The team have knocked the last bit of enthusiasm out of me already.

If we score first I'm daft enough to get some back though.

I'm on automatic pilot BB.
I'm not renewing my season ticket though. I'll get a ten match one next season.
The drive there and back is getting a right chore after doing it for 38 years.
I've left a lot of enthusiasm on the Tarmac in that time.

Only being positive will create a positive outcome. FACT

Sorry, but that is rubbish.

I've been positive a thousand times on my way to watch Rovers, but I definitely haven't had a thousand positive outcomes!

You have my sincere best wishes as we know, it is caused by electro thingy to and from the brain. (Forgive me if I am wrong as it is only what I have been led to believe, although I was trained what to do if I had been called to such a case in the Police and I had occasion on only about two occasions to use that training, it can be as distressing to the person witnessing and trying to help because as you say Filo there is not a lot you can do until afterwards.

It is a trigger that nobody ever knows when it is going to be pulled, God Bless you in the care needed and as we all know. It is right place right time. I hope you are there in the right place for a long time to come.  Living with a time bomb is not easy. My lovely late wife stated when diagnosed with Cancer, "it is living with the sword of Dramaclease (prob wrong spelling apologies) hanging over her head, You also have that same feeling no doubt and so does your wife.  Take Care.

Mate, my wife now wheres an elasticated wristband with epilepsy written on it, a few years ago she had a siezure while out on her own (she never goes anywhere on her own now), the paramedics and ambulance crew just bundled her into the ambulance thinging she was a druggie, thats what the docs at A+E were told, it wasn't until I turned up and explained to them that she was an epileptic that their attitude changed

I had it when i was a kid filo, i got the piss taken out of me by the other kids, kids are cruel but it was only because they didn't understand it. I fell off a six foot wall straight on my head, some people get staring unnoticeable fits, i had the jerky ones, used to have forty a day, i can barely remember my childhood.
Thankfully for some reason i was prescribed a cough medicine and not long after they completely stopped, i told the specialist, whether it was a coincidence i don't know?.
I do remember when you've had them you are not right until later on in the day, and you feel ashamed.
My neighbour had one right in front of me and my dad, came out of it, and ran home because he felt stupid, we tried to reassure him but he just wanted to get out of our way.
I always said if i did anything it would be to help epilepsy, because i see it as a charity that gets overlooked a lot.
I really feel for you and your wife, and i hope you get the miracle i got. I still feel as though my head isn't wired up right all these years later, my thought processes are at times muddled, and the headaches are terrible, but i am so thankful i don't have them any more, if you ever do fundraising i haven't a lot of money but i would give you something.

Sammy, you say you haven't loads of money. Well if you want to save today's admission price I have two tickets spare for today. I'll probably set off about 12 so let me know if you want them and I'll give you them at the ground.

How is that rubbish. If we create a positive atmosphere it will help the players. If they (the players) are not positive we may as well all stay at home including them.

Campsall

Do you laugh before someone tells you a joke?

It should be the players that create a positive atmosphere.

No, we as supporters need to play our part.
Can you imagine what it must be like to play in front of a hostile crowd. If we create a supportive atmosphere then the players need to produce 100% effort and commitment and then if the don't it is unacceptable.

We've reached this stage already, I feel.

The Black Bank initiative provides the best home support we've ever had at the Keepmoat.

Good, let's keep it going. Then it is up to the players to respond.
All I am saying is if there is a negative atmosphere then we are doomed. Players respond to crowd decibels, not boos and jeering.

Enough banter till later. Off to match in 20 mins
Let's get behind them and get that vital win.
We can do it today, the tide is going to turn, it has to.

Campsall, you're mixing two different things.  Look at my match predictions of late and you'll see that by your measure I am negative.  Sit with me at a game and I only support the players, a few gasps of exasperation mixed in but always applaud effort whether the outcome is good or not, but...

Having watched the team all season, the way they are playing now gives me absolutely no reason to believe that we're going to avoid the drop, that doesn't make me 'negative', just realistic to the way I see it.

And to say that only by us being positive will a positive outcome be achieved is just plain bonkers.  The only positivity likely to produce a positive outcome is positivity from the players... FACT!!!

I heard you the first time, no need to repeat yourself !!.
That is fine by me mate, so just to be clear, the outcome of the games has to be win, draw and lose as predicted in Campsalls post.
I guess that you would have given the tenner to the charity anyway but it adds a bit of fun doesn't it.
TBH, i wouldn't mind paying double if those results do happen.

Well DRFC1951, a shame the bet didn't last more than one game but I suppose your charity gets it money more quickly.
Don't forget to send it will you.

Just carry on being negative, just don't drown in your own misery.

Camps ll, I am far from being negative but I am being a realist.
This run is right up there with o'Driscolls now and I can't see a way out.
I shout and sing with the best of them but unless Fergie recognises that we need a captain type of defender then we are not going to get safe.

That's what I said isn't it. The players will be more positive with the positive support from us.
We played much better today, yes still not good enough to win though.

Yes I agree we need a Rob Jones type leader, but they don't grow on trees do they. He may have tied for all we know. The summer is when he will have the opportunity to bring the right players in.
Just hope and it is looking less likely match by match that we will be recruiting for a league 1 campaign.
