Stuckman has had nothing to do all game except pick the ball out of the back of the net twice.

I thought before todays game that a defeat today would be it (as in very likely relegation)

13 games without a win. a decent performance with nothing to show for it.

best start looking forward to league two.

Sickener today. But it's not over.

He also had the ball to catch before they banged in the winner! He failed. Poor keeper IMO.
As for poor finishing, I totally agree. Me and my son were stood in awe before the game as they did shooting practice. 50 odd shots must have rained in. I could count on one hand the amount that found the back of the net! So not surprised. But we only have two strikers to pick from. Zero options from the bench. They look out on their feet. Especially having been manhandled the entire game! Apparantly you can now tackle with both hands firmly attached to the opposition!

Dare to dream!

Good performance and all of them showed fight. But that's an absolute sickner. Hope it doesn't affect them too much.

We're just not good enough are we? Thought we played well, pleased with the effort and commitment. Just not good enough.

Our defence is a total joke.we look vulnerable at every set piece.sorry to say but we need a miracle.

Rigo, the next two are critical, against relegation rivals Colchester and Blackpool, both of whom have shown more fight of late than us. Sad to say, I can see us losing both games.

Cost us again and again? Well that's just not true is it. We've barely created any this year

Agree it was a much better performance. Even ATS played very very well. Showed some heart and desire led very well by Copps. Still had the odd wobbler when we seem to panic at times but the BFG has turned into a liability with some awful decision making. I thought their keeper had his moments but Stuckman had to top it.

Shame because we didn't deserve that

Not critical? Any game is critical now, and games against the few sides around us are even more so.

This is the first day I've felt as if we really won't get out of it. It's such a joke that we're in this situation.

Thought we played really well today, plenty of effort & commitment, absolutely gutted for the players. On the plus side we created chances, got balls into the front two & looked much better going forward. I know you make your own luck in this game, but we really are getting punished for every single mistake lately. Really would like to see the same team & performance next Friday.

Rigo, maybe so, but no we're in the Relegation zone that is a psychological blow for everyone at the club, given we've been in such an atrocious run, I can't see us escaping relegation. All the clubs around us seem to have more fight than s, including our next two opponents.

Being in the drop zone might actually be a big catalyst.

The body language at the end was worrying. They were gutted which was understandable but they have just had any remaining confidence sucked out of them.
Although all we need is that level of effort and a referee who knows the laws of the game and we will stay up

The title of this thread is correct

Today we had chances to win us 3 games and we failed to take them again ... there were some good saves (some that were not given as corners) BUT without mentioning Players by name there were 2 chances in the second half that should have been taken - one a free header just 6 yards out

In a few of the home games we have similarly missed chances ... make that BIG chances to score and we are just not doing it enough. Today we were unlucky to end with a loss as we bossed the second half but when you are on top you just NEED to convert the domination into goals

Now is the time when DF will show whether he has the man management skills needed. He will have to lift them as their heads will be down after losing it so late in the match.
If they can show that level of commitment for the last 9 games then we have a chance. Our luck surely has to change, as you mostly make your own luck through sheer effort and desire.

Stuckmann makes some great saves, then gets beat on one's he shouldn't, and he has always been prone to those rush of blood moments.
Did anybody see him against united in the cup for Preston?. He did it a fair few times in that game, also many others for preston, and here and there for us no different, he had no need to go for the ball, this time he needed to stay on his near post.
