So you're saying our new signings aren't any good? Before a ball has even been kicked?
Brilliant

Dickos, I wish you would read things in context of the thread. Of course I'm not saying that our signings are any good. I was replying to someone who thought that there was only us that have signed 'quality'. Now, first of all define 'quality' to me and further, then go ahead and explain why all the other teams in our division have not signed 'quality'. My response to the other poster was a bit tongue-in-cheek, as his post/comment was simply ridiculous. Who are any of us to say that what we have signed are all quality (by the way, I trust Fergie to get that bit right, more than I trusted PD to), never mind whether all the other sides havn't signed quality players.

Sorry Steve, didn't realise you'd take being called a wet flannel personally.

Hows about this, wait until Saturday. If we're shite, we're shite. If we we're good, we're good. The best player in this league will be on show on Saturday, and he plays for us. He can drag us through.

No need for all this twitchy arse antics.

What I was trying to say was the players we signed were all players who had a good season for there clubs, and were offered new contracts which they turned down to sign for us.. Rather than players who were just released from league2 clubs and signed for another on a short contract which seems to be the case for a lot of clubs in league 2...Although how you can interpret that as ridiculous after your statement is beyond me and by the looks a lot of others too....

No need to panic, it would be easy for the manager to go out, and just get 'bodies' in, but it's been done like that before, he is waiting for the right ones.
Some of these will be with higher teams, who have decided yet, who goes out on loan, and who stays at the club. With have a very decent starting eleven, it's just the bench options, and whether we pick any more niggling injuries up.
I would expect him to maybe get one in before the accrington game, and maybe another two after it, we will be okay.

I really don't understand all the panic reaction to our injury situation.
We haven't kicked a ball in anger yet.
If we only get 5 or less points from the first 5 games the there is reason for concern.
I am predicting 3 wins and 2 draws, 11 points, even with an injury hit sqaud.
Have I got rose tinted specs on again. We will see.
But where has all that optermism gone from a few weeks ago.
The bookies still see us as 2nd favourites, and they don't usually get it too wrong do they.

Laughed at a few of the comments on this thread. Good effort, fellas.
