I voted no, but I haven't ruled out going.

I hardly ever go the the early rounds of this competition - just live too far away to justify it.  When we won in 2007, I went to the Crewe game at home and the final.  It's great to have a competition like this, but I would only go more often if I was on the doorstep.

The only exceptions have been Cambridge away a few years ago as that was close, and then Burton away a couple of seasons ago.

I voted NO to any games but would get interested if we made SERIOUS progress

That sums up my views on the other massively devalued Comps like the League Cup and the FA Cup too (although in the latter I would go to earlier "interesting games" - but I only define "interesting" after the Draw)

For me it's a matter of principle. I don't think B teams, or academy teams, should be in the competition. It makes it worse for me that L1 & L2 clubs risk fines if they want to use the competition to develop their own youngsters.

If by some chance we get out of our group, the odds are we will meet B teams later in the competition.

I voted yes. I have seen some good games over the years and it also gives me a chance to see our younger players. Will only go if the price is set right.

The rules. Interesting that once you get into the last 16 that it is an open draw. So Plymouth away on a Tuesday night is a possibility!

Hopefully we will be prioritising the League!

If be interested to see how many of these principles remained if we got to the final. Would the 32 who've voted (so far) still not go to the final? Likewise the 6 who wouldn't go if it was against Chelsea B. Or would the lure of another day out at Wembley prove too much?

I would consider going to later rounds, and that's nowt to do with the B teams involvement nor principles, more just about the competition hotting up.

It's a complete "No" from me and that would include the final (although I would probably still go to London for the post-match celebrations!)

It would seriously debase the whole competition if two B Teams got to the Final.

I would quite happily miss it to prove a point.
Empty seats would make a bigger point than loads turning up.
Ps I was at Wembley when we beat Leeds.
Cup games should be all about the excitement of a night where you go through after one game against better or worse opponents; not a league where you play B teams.

I won't be any going to any EFL trophy game full stop. Complete farce and an entire disregard to supporters and the lower leagues integrity alike.

Looking at the poll results so far there certainly won't be much point in opening any more than one stand for our home games.
It will be interesting to see what sort of crowds the B teams attract for their home games.

If the big teams had all joined might have been a bit different and worth a try for 1 year but as they haven't it's become pointless

On what basis does the prospect of playing Man U kids, as against playing Derby kids, make it "worth a try"?

If you're that desperate to visit Old Trafford, I think they do tours there most weeks.

For me, sport requires a certain level of "integrity" in the competition. Villages, towns, cities and countries should be represented by "their" team and pitched against their rivals on an even basis - if Rovers are playing Liverpool, I want it to be Liverpool's 1st team, not a bunch of wannabes, has-beens & never-will-bes in a competition engineered to satisfy the whims of the organisers and paymasters.
