Leeds probably have greater resources for their development squads etc.

We may have wanted a player suitable for the 1st team squad whereas they (and others) can afford the luxury of larger development and youth set ups.

They've only signed him cos they think he's Billy Whitehurst's son!

more likely Mary Whitehouse's son

all part of a new whiter than white image (think about it) :suicide:

They apparently needed to bolster the ranks of the development squad..He has a 1 year deal so the odds are against him really.. don't know many people who have seen him play, both for the 1st team or our development squad who thought he was good enough for 1st team football if I'm honest....
You cant say that it wont come back to haunt us as the game has many instances of late developing players making it, but we cant afford passengers at the minute (apart from the Toe) so fair enough for me...

I have watched him for last year's Dev squad, under Rob Jones, and imho he never really stirred enough interest in me. But, players can come good at anytime in their careers, so best of luck to the lad.

The 2 McKay boys, who also went to Weeds, were the eye catchers in that team.
