Dave Syers
« on October 15, 2016, 09:20:52 pm by StocktonRover »
I'm sure I saw a tweet a few days ago (possibly from Copps) wishing Dave Syers all the best on his retirement.
Today he made his debut for Darlington and scored for them in a 5-2 win against Gainsborough in the Conference North (or whatever its correct title is).

I liked Syers and thought we missed him when he moved on.

A good honest professional that helped us to promotion.
It's just a shame about his injury record.
Best of luck to him.

I always rated Syers and was sorry to see him go. I'm very surprised that he's dropped down to Darlo's level, but it sounds like there is more to it than that.
Always a thinking footballer, an intelligent lad.

Good luck to him.

Good player who would surely still be in league football but for injuries.
