Question for Bentley Bullet
« on November 22, 2016, 02:50:49 pm by Dutch Uncle »
Should the England cricket selectors make the decision to change the batting lineup in the next test, or should they duckett? What is the root of the problem - do they need more ballance in the side? Did the butler do it in the nets? Do we need bowling that does more with the ball? When a-broad I wouldn't be rash - I'd keep the same bowlers.

Ansari's on a postcard please

In all seriousness, Ballance should never have been picked for India after his travails in Bangladesh.

I realise I am biased but I would have taken Ian Bell to India. He didn't have a great season at home but he's still got a sound technique against spin. Call it horses for courses if you like.

And please don't get me started on Ansari. If he didn't play for Surrey he'd never have got near the squad.

I reckon Captain Cook's under the influence of Captain Morgan's rum decision making.

Things could have got a bit spicey if Morgan was in the test side

Agree with Bell - if only because he is right handed - we have far too many lefties in the lineup against Ashwin at the moment.

They'd be Batty to pick Ansari again.

They should lay off the beer the night before a game. I once saw some of the players looking a bit worse for wear the night before a test match, and he was pickled Onions.
