Etheridge moves to Alfreton

Etheridge has moved on loan to Alfreton until January 15th.

Seems like we're getting another keeper in.

Surley we must be getting a keeper in under the Emergency loan rules with the Christmas fixtures coming up

Disappointed that he's dropped two tiers, I was hoping he'd go out on loan to another team in our division or at the very least in the conference. Still, should mean he gets good game time and hopefully recovers some confidence.

He couldn't go out to another L2 side until January. Ideally he would have gone to a National League side, but maybe none of them want a first choice keeper.

So long as he gets some game time. That is the main thing.

Rovers will not be able to bring in an emergency loan unless anything happens to Marosi. In any case, Etheridge will have a 24 hour recall clause.

Well, to,be fair, the way he's played this season I doubt another League 2 club would have wanted him anyway
