John Sheridan given touchline ban
« on December 22, 2016, 10:28:37 am by bobjimwilly »
Apologies if already posted.

"Notts County manager John Sheridan has been handed a five-game touchline ban by the FA after being sent to the stands against Wycombe."

Do we think it will affect their performance against us on boxing day?

I think this could have more of an impact:

Alan Hardy remains fully committed to taking over Notts County despite the cost of buying the club rising dramatically, the Post understands.

It is believed the total outlay for the deal has risen from £3m to £5m after Hardy's advisors stepped up their due diligence process.

A source close to the takeover insists the Nottingham businessman has not been put off - and in fact is speeding up the process to ensure players and staff are paid their December wages on time.

Both staff and players are understood to have been paid late last month.

In order to ensure funds are in place to pay this month's wages, the exchange of contracts between both parties has been fast tracked to happen tomorrow, although the deal is still scheduled to be completed in early January.

It is believed the exchange of contracts was originally set to take place in the new year.

Notts remain under transfer embargo as they owe in the region of £350,000 to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.

They will be able to sign players once that debt is settled.
